I was seeking a quiet retreat with great views of the mountains and lake and easy access to X-C ski areas, as well as the local town. This is exactly what I found at this condo. The on-line pictures and description were true to the actual site, the condo was clean and welcoming, conveniently located to the town and the ski areas. I was pleased to find that I was able to ski from the condo location to area X-C trails. I would definitely like to return and will be recommending this condo and site to friends & family

Christmas morning in Lake Placid had always been on our "bucket list"...and this little slice of heaven did not disappoint. The tasteful decor and stellar amenities puncuated the obvious affection that the property owners have for Adirondack and Olympic life. We arrived on Christmas Eve to a covering of freshly fallen snow on the lake, complimented by 4pm Mass @ St. Agnes and dinner at the Mirror Lake Inn. We enjoyed opening presents in front of the roaring fire the next day followed by a long walk (so peaceful) around the property. We especially enjoyed the 1980 Olympic memorabilia and watched "Miracle" on Christmas night (all the while scratching our heads...has it really been 30 years?). Our son (20) and daughter (16) had fun skiing at Whiteface and hiking the property while my husband and I were able to steal some alone time in the village (and I relaxed at the spa at the MLI). The study behind the fireplace provided a fabulous escape hatch that we all enjoyed at various intervals...and the owners' wonderful restaurant recommendations confirmed the quality of a spot we had always wanted to try (Lisa G's). All in all, the owners provided a warm and wonderfully welcoming personal touch that is sorely lacking when forced to deal with more impersonal property management personnel. BY FAR THE BEST We have stayed in several condos over the past few years as part of the lacrosse tournament and this was by far the best. The attention to the Adirondack details is beauriful. Thank you for sharing your home.
