The Moving Mountains Chalet is a warm contemporary home that offers comfortable & spacious accommodation for families and groups in a great location on the World-Class Steamboat Ski Mountain. The Chalet is located in the prestigious Burgess Creek neighborhood, 1.5 miles above the ski base area close to the Thunderhead high-speed quad lift - just a minute from the front door.

The Great Room:The expansive great room with cathedral-ceiling offers spectacular views of the mountains. Step out on the sunny south-facing deck for a view down the valley. The Great room incorporates a home office with desktop computer, high speed internet access, and a color printer. There is also a flat panel LCD TV with digital cable/DVD/surround-sound. This room offers plenty of room for all to lounge in. Our over-stuffed leather furniture invites you to relax with your feet up! The Professional Kitchen:The kitchen is fully equipped with professional grade gas stovetop + griddle, double ovens and double dishwashers. With our full-service option our chefs will tantalize your taste-buds with healthy gourmet delights that will energize you for a day on the mountain. Children can also enjoy meals at their own pace in the breakfast nook, while adults enjoy relaxed meals in the spacious dining area in the great room.Bedrooms:Each of the 6 bedrooms are individually themed and have private ensuite full bathrooms and cable TV. Beds have featherbeds and Euro comforters. Rooms also include plush terry robes, slippers, and complimentary toiletries and a humidifier. Bedding configuration: 3 x queen bedrooms, 2 x twin/king rooms :two extra long twins that make up to a full-size king bed, master suite that will sleep 2 adults and 2 children - king bed + full-size futon bed. The recreation room also offers an additional queen sleeper-sofa bed.On a side deck that borders the National Forest looking up to the ski mountain, is an 8 person deluxe hot-tub. Soak, unwind & plan adventures for the day ahead under a starlit sky or while fresh "Champagne" powder coats the mountain. There is also a ski room with custom boot drier & ski rack connects to a large play area with table tennis, video games system and full stock of books and board games for young ones. Here children can play and let off steam without disturbing the rest of the chalet.

Steamboat ski area offers world-class skiing activities from ski school to fresh powder skiing in the trees. In the summer, if you want to escape, take a quiet walk through the trees. Relax anywhere in the Chalet and enjoy breath-taking views in a mountain setting.
