Recently renovated this apartment is cozy, bright and cheerfully furnished. It has a small kitchen that is fully equipped and has a microwave, a dining area and a comfortable living area. There is one bedroom that has two twin beds and sleeps two people. The bathroom has a shower stall and there is a washing machine in the apartment, but there is a fee for its use. Additionally, there is a radio and cable television, but there is no phone.

This apartment is about 15 minutes by foot from the center of the village. You can find local shopping just 5 minutes away. However, major grocery stores, restaurants, banks and more are in Thun which is just an 11 minute bus ride away. Rail connections from Thun are excellent, making most of Switzerland accessible as a day trip.

The highlight of visiting Oberhofen is its landmark fairytale castle, which is one of the most photographed images in all of Europe. It also has beautiful vineyards, a variety of restaurants and tea rooms. Other activities available include tennis, swimming, mini golf, hiking and sailing.
